MITA stands for "Man in the Arena", in reference to the powerful speech delivered by Theodore Roosevelt in 1910. Our commitment post-sale is to be 'in the arena' with grit and accountability, constantly striving to improve the business and to protect your legacy.

Leadership

Jack Kelly, CPA, Founder
Jack started his career as a public accountant in 2014 with Deloitte LLP. It didn’t take him long to realize that accounting was not his 'calling'. After a few years, he pivoted to investment banking, joining Robert W. Baird as an Analyst in their Technology and Services group. While with Baird, Jack advised many clients in both buyside and sellside capacities; his advisory support generated successful exits in excess of $500mm in enterprise value.

In 2019, Jack joined Colibri Group, a private-equity backed professional education and training business, as a Director of Finance and Corporate Development.
He spent six years with the business, rising to the SVP of Corporate Development, leading a broad team across both internal and external initiatives. Jack led M&A activity for the business, completing 20+ acquisitions and deploying more than $1.5B in capital.

Jack is now focused on the next challenge: buying and running his own business. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and excited to partner with a local business owner to support their desired transition. MITA Ventures is well capitalized and has significant transaction experience to drive an efficient acquisition process.

Jack resides in Parker, CO with his wife, Jordyn and 1-year old son, Jack Theodore Kelly; he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and being outdoors with his family.
